Soft Hours Studio is a knit design and creative studio based in New York’s Garment District, dedicated to exploring the intersection of textile, design, and everyday experience. Centered around the language of “soft materials,” the studio approaches knitting as both a technical practice and an expressive medium, creating space for material-driven thinking, experimentation, and dialogue.

Working across education, design development, and textile research, Soft Hours Studio supports both individual and collaborative practices through knit-based processes. From concept to material realization, the studio seeks to build a thoughtful connection between creativity and technique, using softness as a framework to rethink how we make, experience, and engage with contemporary design.
