Valencia Nina Monroe is an independent curator based in Los Angeles, California. Her curatorial practice centers on creating exhibitions that bring together artists across generations and cultures to explore diasporic histories and complex individual experiences, fostering global understanding while uplifting and unifying communities through cross-cultural dialogue.

In 2024, she founded Genesis Gallery Museum, a a digital museum that bridges art, culture, and technology and serves as a hub for innovation and artistic exchange, as well as Choose Hope Foundation, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to supporting mental and emotional well-being through the arts by placing artworks in medical and mental health care spaces. 

Monroe holds a Master’s degree in Curatorial Practices and the Public Sphere and a Bachelor’s degree in Art from USC’s Roski School of Art and Design.
