Veils of Twilight brought together a group of contemporary artists whose works explored the ambiguous, the obscure, and the in-between. The exhibition invited audiences to reflect on transitional states—emotional shifts, drifting memories, and abstract interior landscapes. Through painting, installation, and digital media, it captured moments that resisted definition, where light faded into shadow and reality merged with imagination.
Featuring works by Qinying Cai, Zengjie Chai, Cash Cooper, Juan José López, Nathaniel Kyung Smith, Shuai Xu, and Sissi Wang, the show created a dialogue between diverse materials and perspectives. Each artist approached uncertainty as both a condition and a creative force, revealing how ambiguity could become a site of self-reflection and transformation. Together, their works unfolded a landscape of in-between states—where memory, material, and technology intertwined, and where the boundaries between clarity and obscurity continually dissolved.
The opening reception, held on October 18, marked the beginning of this journey between light and shadow. Guests gathered for an evening of conversation and discovery, accompanied by drinks, a live-drawing performance by Cash Cooper, and an interactive demonstration of Juan José López’s VIBE-3D. As the exhibition concluded, Veils of Twilight left behind a lingering resonance—a reminder that within uncertainty lies a quiet, transformative beauty.
