Graphic Design Intern

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Graphic Design Intern to assist in the organization’s visual communication efforts. Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Designing exhibition posters, promotional materials, and social media visuals (Instagram, website, etc.)
  • Creating visual designs and promotional materials for Open Call (artist recruitment) campaigns
  • Maintaining and updating the organization’s visual identity, ensuring alignment with curatorial concepts

Qualifications

  • Educational background or experience in graphic design, visual communication, media arts, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Strong skills in layout design, color theory, and visual storytelling with the ability to execute design tasks independently
  • Understanding of social media content strategies; a passion for art and curation is a plus

Curatorial Assistant Intern

Job Description

The Curatorial Assistant Intern will be directly involved in various aspects of exhibition planning, assisting the curatorial team in bringing exhibitions to fruition. Main responsibilities include:


  • Exhibition Execution: Assisting in managing exhibition details, including organizing artwork information, coordinating exhibition layouts, and handling logistics
  • Content Writing: Contributing to exhibition descriptions, press releases, and social media content to effectively communicate the exhibition’s vision
  • External Communication: Maintaining contact with artists, media, and partner institutions, assisting with interviews, press releases, and promotional activities
  • Research & Documentation: Compiling relevant artist materials and curatorial research to support exhibition content


Qualifications

  • Strong interest in museums, galleries, and curatorial practices, with a desire to develop a career in the art industry
  • Excellent writing and planning skills, with the ability to draft exhibition-related content independently
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining efficient communication
  • Proficiency in English and/or Chinese (written and spoken); applicants with only one language proficiency are also welcome to apply
